In brief

What works, what to weigh

+

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Helpful, personal service — Guests repeatedly mention staff going out of their way — from driving a guest to the station to providing directions and folding pajamas.
  • Clean, comfortable rooms — Reviewers describe rooms as spotless, spacious, and quiet, with comfortable beds and balconies in some singles.
  • Quiet, peaceful location — The Rödelheim setting is appreciated as a calm base, especially compared to busier parts of Frankfurt.
  • Free Wi-Fi and parking — Both are provided at no extra cost, a practical bonus for car or train travellers.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • Basic facilities — The facilities score is notably lower than comfort and staff, suggesting the hotel is functional rather than feature-rich.
  • Location requires planning — Guests note a 15-minute walk to the nearest train station, and the hotel is set away from the city centre — fine for a quiet stay, but not for spontaneous sightseeing.
  • Value considered average — The value for money score is lower than other categories, and one guest mentioned 'arrogant' staff, which tempers the positive service picture.
  • No pets, simple breakfast — Pets are not allowed, and breakfast is described as simple — fine for a short stay but not a highlight.

“Cozy beds, central heating, plenty of TV channels, and a desk in the king room.”

7.3Verified guest

“The owner personally drove me to the station where I could catch the S-Bahn and reach the Messe within 10 minutes — great service! A bus stop is right at the hotel entrance, and trains and buses are free during Messe. Wi-Fi works well and is free. Breakfast is simple but fine and costs only a few euros.”

7.3Verified guest

“Breakfast was okay. The location is somewhat close to the city — about a 15-minute walk to the train station, then a couple of stops to the Messe, or 4–5 stops to Frankfurt's main station.”

7.3Verified guest

“Amazing staff, especially the woman at the front desk and Basil. The breakfast was fantastic! The room was spotlessly clean with fresh sheets and a comfy mattress. Great value in the city. Convenient location with a restaurant behind the hotel. Free Wi-Fi and parking were a bonus. The cleaners even folded our pajamas! The nearby village was charming, with a great bakery and supermarket, including an organic one. Superb stay, highly recommended!”

7.3Verified guest

“The room had a spacious double bed and all the basics like toiletries. Had a really nice and comfy sleep.”

7.3Verified guest

“The place is clean, with a particularly good location, a short walk to a light industrial area. Cozy atmosphere, but some staff here are arrogant.”
